Listener Q&A:
As compiled, deciphered, edited and sometimes read by Brock Skywalker Armstrong, the Podcast Sidekick and Audio Ninja.
Is Bulletproof Coffee A Scam?
Trevor says: He is curious what your thoughts are on the recent article “Butter In Your Coffee and Other Cons: Stories From a Fitness Insider“. It talks about a lot of folks who you've discussed on your show, like the Food Babe, Dave Asprey and John Kiefer, and things like Bulletproof Coffee and Carb Backloading being scams. What do you think? Any recommendations for us to dig through the confusion?

The Best Anti-Aging Exercises
Bill says: He climbs a mountain (3500-5000 feet) nearly every weekend. Plus he carries a 20.5lbs pack. He is 70 years old and has had some injuries (knee problems and tore his quad last year). Do you think that is a good form of exercise? *he also asks about Cool Fat Burner Vest – we'll direct him to old episodes*
The Most Natural Way To Clean Countertops
Bradley says: He and his wife use the Method All Purpose Natural Surface Cleaner to clean their countertops. Is this a safe thing to use to clean or is there a better option out there?

Can You Use Dried Herbs In A Smoothie?
Aleksi says: He is wondering if he could use dried herbs to make his own greens drink.

Should You Use Nasal Breathing When You Race?
There'sa says: She has been training for a marathon using nasal breathing alone. It was hard at first but then it got easier and easier and she has noticed that she has more energy, especially in her long runs. When she actually races the Chicago Marathon, should she incorporate mouth breathing to get even more air or should she continue with 100% nasal?

I would like to know your thoughts on Far Infrared Saunas. Have you done any research on it? Do you recommended it? If so, how?
I've written a tonne on them, but start here: https://bengreenfieldfitness.com/2015/10/scien…
Chris Froome won the Tour this year! I am one of those who always get clogged nose. Started using the turbine and works great for me. One big plus of Nasal breathing is that you dont get dry mouth out of breathing through your mouth.
Appreciate your feedback Javier, we'll see what we can do!
Lighten up Francis.
As a big fan of bullet-proof "style" coffee, I am turned off by Dave Asprey's marketing of his coffee being the only safe coffee to drink because of myco toxins and such in almost any other coffees but his.
He also markets his "Unfair Advantage" PQQ supplement with the same scare tactics as being the only one that uses an available form of PQQ.
BTW Thanks for your Show! Using a ketogenic diet and following many of the great training, diet and supplement tips from your podcast and website, I have gone from 270 lb down to 190 lb as well as brought my lipid profile from off the charts down to: total cholesterol 163, LDL 72, HDL 79, Triglycerides 58. As well my A1C went from 9.8 down to 5.7 All quite optimal numbers. All in under a year, (9 months)
