Execute all BGL marketing activities, including but not limited to; social posting and engagement, social media copywriting, affiliate linking, social media copy and creative link updates. Assist with BGL ad copy and assist with advertisement execution.

Knowledge of:

  • Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
  • Excellent, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrable social media experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Adequate knowledge of social media best practices, CRO and SEO
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Positive attitude, detail- and customer-oriented with good multitasking and exceptional organizational ability
  • Familiarity with Ben Greenfield and the BGL brand
  • Fluency in English\

Social Posting & Engagement (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube):

  • Manage, organize and prioritize the content calendar within Asana. Specifically the social media aspect of the content plan, and how it fits together with content being published on other channels. 
  • Communicate cross-departmentally to ensure alignment with posts, proper social media copy, assets and timing. 
  • Keep Social Media SOP updated on a quarterly basis 
  • Engage with comments and DMs on a weekly basis
  • Develop, create and brainstorm new creative ideas based on content that resonates with the audience
  • Track hashtags, content ideas, and highly performing content for use in the future
  • Manage content calendar on social media platforms, utilizing Asana, coordinate with overall content plan 
  • Add affiliate links and codes into social posts, swipe copy, ensuring links are correct and working
  • Submit content requests in collaboration with the Content Manager and Partnerships team
  • Manage and communicate with partners regarding creative assets, scheduling, questions
  • Repurpose podcast quotes and show-notes to create visual social posts
  • Repurpose old content from BGL website to create value-driven social posts
  • Create new social posts based on text, audio, photos, and video provided by Ben
  • Promote Ben's events, launches, and promotions
  • Promote Kion sales and launches on BGL channels
  • Track performance data, understand data sets, and use this for a continuous improvement model. 

Other General Responsibilities:

  • Analyze social media trends and develop plans for Ben’s cross-platform content 
  • Research other top influencers in the market to analyze health-market trends 
  • Weekly building of the social media plan
  • Explore partnerships with different creators who share a common vision, as directed by the Content Manager and/or Partnerships Manager
  • Communicate directly with partners on status of paid content and social posts 
  • Create new platform-specific content for Youtube and Facebook
  • Repurpose older videos for Youtube, Facebook, IG 
  • Create easily digestible content based on Ben’s previous books, posts, and articles for all platforms
  • Communicate with venues of Ben’s speaking gigs to obtain recordings for social and podcast publication
  • Synthesize content from external podcasts for social media publication
  • Spend time engaging on all platforms more publicly 

Job Details:

  • Full-time exempt salaried position in the range of $40,000-$55,000 DOE
