The anti ageing tips explained on the page is very informative. I am expecting more god posts and useful tips from you guys. Thank you so much for posting this article. I will visit the web site again for sure.
Ben, you use the Cool Fat Burner for performance not fat loss. If a person is using it for fat loss it is not recommended to use it the way you use it. The instructions say do not use it while eating breakfast and drinking hot stuff. Eating and drinking hot stuff should be done after your session. It is best to follow the instructions rather than use it the way Ben is using it unless your just using it for performance. I just think this point needs to be made. It surprised me when I once saw Ben wearing it while drinking hot coffee during a video.
Honestly, you're still going to get a ton of Brown Adipose Tissue stimulation if you're wearing it while drinking coffee. Just try it. You'll notice the body temp shift. And this vest can be used for BOTH performance and fat loss.Ben
ooh, i consume much more wine/beer than 3-4 glasses a week, especially during the holidays – gotta cut down, because it is affecting my health. i often crave it though, as one would crave sugar. which makes sense, because i used to be a sugar addict.
happy belated birthday ben! thanks for this article. i noticed in your email that you said you drank a bottle of wine……how often do you do that? i'm asking, because besides my wine/beer fondness, i have a very healthy lifestyle – i eat clean, organic food and properly raised animals products, and i exercise everyday (not chronic cardio though!) – mostly walk or rebound an hour a day, plus 2 strength training sessions a week. i avoid chemicals – i use no skin or hair products, except dr. bronner's soap, and coconut or olive oil for my skin. i do qigong and yoga, and try to meditate sometimes. i have a FIR sauna for detoxing. but, like i said, i like my wine and beer, and tend to imbibe too much a little too often. do you think i'm sabotaging my health by doing that?
another question is about emu oil – how do you store it? i didn't know it was 70% unsaturated, which probably means it's unstable and goes rancid pretty quickly. after a few months i noticed it smelled like chicken (cooked). i wonder if that means it's rancid?
I must be missing something. I'm pretty sure I'm subscribed to the newsletter, in fact I think I've don't it twice but I have no clue how to access the password?…….
Thanks for the great info Ben, and happy B-day. Mine is Jan. 1st, will be 54 (eek) but it's kind of fun when people ask me my age because their mouths usually drop open. Julia, I too have felt like I am taking advice from a child, but Ben your advice is awesome despite your youth! Ben, in one of your podcasts it talked about vitamin C minimizing the effects of chlorine from swimming pools. I am in a pool 5-6 days/week for my job, usually a couple hours each day. After that podcast I started taking some C supplements, but after reading this maybe I should stop them. NutraRev only has 100 mg of C, and the others don't really list amounts of C. Also, Which Life shots do you use, the regular or sugar free? I would lean towards to sugar free but am not crazy about sugar alcohols (but love stevia). Thanks for your time and sharing all your knowledge!

I wish you a very very happy 31st birthday Ben – at the same time am laughing at a 31 one year old dude giving advise on aging…Let's talk again in about twenty years… Love your stuff though and will look into the brain food…
Julia, your faithful 52 year old reader (still in pretty good shape)
I believe you! I listen to your podcasts and read whatever you write – I'm in total agreement with the BG way of doing things. It's just a lot different when you are actually *there*, in your older years and doing it. I have to say that I am slowing down a bit (in terms of speed) but so far feel still in the game. :-)
Thanks again for all your *young* energy!
Hey Ben, great post. Regarding HIIT vs. long slow cardio. Would you still recommend this method even when preparing for an Ironman or a marathon? Athletes like you already have the endurance to run / cycle long distances but wouldn't a novice need to build their aerobic base and do their once a week long slow run / cycle for training? Thanks for clarifying.
Good stuff Ben! I'm also interested in the answer to the last question re: multi vitamins, and specifically if you have a take on Usana. Also, you made a recommendation some time back re: how to treat inflammation in our joints. At 63, and bone on bone in one knee….Capraflex really works! It makes a huge difference for me…thanks for the tip!
Happy Birthday Ben! Great article/podcasts, as usual. I completely subscribe to the whole Paleo "get your vitamins from whole foods", but I'm in the market for a new multi-vitamin. I subscribe to the value of a lot of your supplements. Although, I don't really hear you talk about a multi-vitamin ever. Do you take one/suggest one?
Ben…great stuff…already do quite a few….just turned the magic 50 and my hairdresser thought I was 42-43..LOL! I do look younger and it is due to my excercising my whole life and now in the last two years I have radically changed my diet and am leaner than I have been since high school…also my waistline is back to a 36 from a 40…anyways thanks for all the great podcasts and hope you have a great birthday and holiday season…Bruce
Thank You so very much Ben Hope you had a great Birthday and all the very best to you and your family for Christmas Take Care and Keep Safe Regards from Oz
AND…Just throwing them out there…lumosity and mybraintrainer are fantastic. The Vittoz method. Neurobics. “Age is in the mind.” And the mind is in the brain. And the brain is in the body.
Ben – Happy 31st! The link for lumosity is lumosity.com. You can play 4 games for free, but to get the full benefit (including assessments and graphs showing your standing against age-group peers in a number of areas such as short term memory, spatial awareness, verbal facility, math), you have to pay a small fee, which is < $10/month, $79/year, or $139 for 2 years. You can customize what you work on, broken down into 4 sub-categories under the major categories of memory, attention, speed, mental flexibility, and problem solving (20 sub-categories in all). They are always coming up with new games, some of which are quite addicting (in a good way). Personally, I find it to be well worth the fee.
I haven’t even finished reading the post…I’m up to #3 and I’m just extatic that nootropics have popped up here! I’m not a gingko fan, but plenty of alpha gpc, different carnitines (acetyl-l, gpl, -arginate), and my favorite combination: dark chocolate and black pepper.

Julia,I have worked with Master's athletes and 60+ year old active (and sedentary/diseased) individuals for over a decade, with fantastic results!

Capraflex says it contains wheat from wheatgrass… is that okay for people with Celiac's ?

Yes, gotta love that Bioperine from the black pepper – have you tried Tian Chi yet? It will blow your mind.
