Just read your recovery article in Trifuel where you mentioned topical magnesium. Is oral magnesium ineffective?
Oral magnesium, such as http://www.pacificfit.net/supplements.php#natural… is good, and I use it to get to sleep, but you can't smear it on a muscle where it hurts, which is what I use topical magnesium for, like this: http://www.magneticclay.com/120-MagnesiumOil-72-c…
You look younger now than your body builder shot in 2005 – so how comes? Avril
Bodybuilding takes a toll on you. Bad skin, low hormones, etc.
Congrats on the Race Ben!!
Congrads on your third Ironman~…truely inspirational! I am a age grouper with dreams of going to Kona, but have had numerous injuries to my knees…which still give me trouble from time to time….not to mention effects my speed! You spoke about taking "fish oil" for joint improvement.- how often and in what form do you use it? Also, I curious about the Double Bonded Protein….taking it 6x a day seems like a lot.! Is this due to your body size and consumption of calories? Would you recommend this to someone who is 5'11" 175 or do you need to take a hard look at each indiviudals need for fueling and recovering to determine whats the right amoun for them to take? Nutrition cover at your triathlon training camp?
Once again, congradualation!~…I'm envious!!! ((lol)
