As promised, I'm going to give you the answers to your breakfast questions, and here's how…

On March 8th, 2011…

At 6PM PST, 9PM EST…

I will be airing a nutrition superstar video that featured a completely free breakfast Q&A with some of the nation's top nutrition experts.

Who is going to be in on this discussion?

Nutrition Superstar 1: Monica Reinagel, aka “The Nutrition Diva”, from Nutrition Over Easy.

Nutriton Superstar 2: Darya Pino, San Francisco foodie and creator of Summer Tomato.

Nutrition Superstar 3: Gloria Tsang, dietitian and editor-in-chief for Health Castle.

Nutrition Superstar 4: Mystery male guest: to-be-revealed during video.

So what can you expect in this free video Q&A?

There will be a quick intro, a discussion about the relationship between breakfast (size, timing, composition) and weight management and performance, and then the floor will be opened up to questions from the audience…you!

And of course, most importantly, where can you watch?

Right here!

Just come to BenGreenfieldFitness.com at 6pm PST/9pm EST on March 8, and you'll get full interaction to ask your breakfast questions to a panel of nutrition experts, including a mystery guest.

See you then.

  1. If your question was NOT answered during the event, don't worry! I'll be addressing all unanswered questions in an upcoming podcast.

My 13 yr. old son just won his science fair with a project on how breakfast affects grades. He used 2 500 cal. breakfasts, 1) 2 poptarts and oj, 2) 3 eggs, 3 bacon and whole milk. The average grade from volunteers for poptart days was 83, and 94 for the eggs and bacon. Seems obvious that it affects your brain!

  3. I actually don't know, as that is out of my hands, but once I find out, I'll send out an e-mail to the newsletter!

Will you post the video for those who can't join in?

What about Tim Ferriss who advocates eating within 30min of waking up?

    1. There's no evidence of benefit to eating within 30 minutes of waking up. We'll talk more about this in the video.
