-New Amazing Meat-A-Palooza Restaurant I Just Discovered
For the past week I've been in LA recording podcasts in a lead-up to the launch of my book “Boundless.” While here, I've had a chance to try plenty of good food, but at the tippy-top of the list is “Belcampo,” founded by a meat lover named Anya Fernald. I had the pleasure of eating there twice, and both times had my socks knocked off by flavorful liver, heart, rib-eye, tartare, roasted carrots and (oh my freaking gosh) tallow fries.
I'm going to give you a full sneak peek at the menu and the to-die-for cocktails below. (When was the last time you had beef jerky as a garnish in a cocktail flavored with BBQ sauce?) I highly recommend the next time you're in LA, you check this place out; and, while you're at it, check out their “Meat Camp,” where you can learn meat butchery and cookery skills for yourself.
