Baked Oatmeal RecipeHow To Make The Best Baked Oatmeal You'll Ever Taste (From My Former Celebrity Chef Podcast Guest)

When I interviewed Michael Chernow – former celebrity chef, restaurateur, and founder of Kreatures of Habit  – he described to me how he invented something called MealOne based on his own desire for a done-for-you packet-based overnight-ish oatmeal that was incredibly satisfying and tasty and gave a complete breakfast at about 340 calories.

It's an “overnight oatmeal” packet totally done-for-you and crafted with premium ingredients to give your body exactly what it needs to optimize daily performance, including glyphosate and gluten-free oats, 30g plant-based protein, probiotics, omega-3 fatty acids, and a host of other superfood ingredients.

So I figured, what the heck? Why not try my Sunday morning brunch-baked oatmeal with this stuff?

For this recipe, I used Maple and Apple Cinnamon flavors of Michael's Kreatures Of Habit MealOne oatmeal. It turned out fantastic, especially topped with a dollop of yogurt, maple syrup, and a touch of nut butter.

You gotta try this…it's super simple:

-Stir together in a mixing bowl 2 tablespoons yogurt, 2 packets MealOne, 2 teaspoons baking powder, a dash of cinnamon, a dash of salt, a handful of raisins, 2 eggs, a touch of sweetener if desired (e.g. monkfruit, maple syrup, honey, etc.) and finally, coconut, almond or regular milk to a thick, gooey ‘pancake-batter' ish texture.

-Grease a baking pan or cake pan with avocado oil or butter, then pour the batter into it and smooth out with a spatula.

-Bake for 30-40 minutes at 350°F, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Remove, serve, and enjoy a high-protein, healthy baked oatmeal that'll make you and your family super satisfied and happy.

Product Of The Week

::: Save 10% On A Powerful Mitochondrial Enhancement Supplement :::

NAD+ is one of the most important molecules in our body for mitochondrial function and anti-aging.

For this reason, I have long been a fan of NAD+ precursors like NMN and NR taken as a supplement. However, NMN and NR may not actually be the best tools for this purpose anymore.

A newly researched molecule called Urolithin-A is showing a ton of promise as a more natural, safer, and even possibly more effective tool for increasing NAD+ compared to NMN and NR, not to mention other benefits like boosts to muscle building (you can read more about the muscle building benefits of Urolithin A in this guest post.)

You see, unlike NMN or NR, Urolithin-A is a natural compound produced by your gut bacteria. However, only about 40% of individuals produce Urolithin A, and of those, not always at therapeutic levels.

This has placed Urolithin-A supplementation high on my list of new biohacking tools.

And my friends over at Timeline Nutrition's supplement Mitopure is one of the most well-researched and purest Urolithin-A supplements on the market.

It has been shown to reduce the inflammatory marker C-reactive protein, low levels of which associate with reduced aging and increased longevity among other health benefits. Mitopure has also been shown as safe and well-tolerated in humans and offers a new way to increase NAD+ that may be safer and more effective than the currently popular methods.

If you want to experience the benefits yourself, you can get Mitopure here and use code BEN for 10% off at checkout.

Sorry Ben. Trying to do too many things at one time. I meant to say it MitoPure an offshoot of MitoQ ?? I would very much like to try this product but not being on your page, how can I make this purchase and will the 10% discount still be available ?? I’m a little late in posting.

  2. WooHoo Ben :) Just wondering because I haven’t tried this product. Do you know what MitoQ is and is this something that is equivalent to it ?? Also, where is the link to get 10% off this product ?? Thank you for all of your podcasts, resources, experience and knowledge.

    1. Sorry Ben. What I meant to say without distractions now, is MitoPure and MitoQ similar ?? I have not tried the MitoQ and have only seen it as an advertisement via my email.
