New Discoveries

Most Basic Probiotics Miss THIS + A Synbiotic Strategy for a Stronger Microbiome 🧬

What’s the most comprehensive probiotic that ensures you’re not leaving anything out and truly giving your gut what it needs for a balanced, healthy microbiome, while also supporting immune function, reducing gas and bloating, and promoting smoother digestion, including easier poops?

The answer is a bit of a mouthful, but worth knowing: the DS-01 Daily Synbiotic by SEED.

This is more than your ordinary probiotic. It’s a complete arsenal for your gut that features:

  • Clinically studied strains: 24 specific strains selected for documented benefits, supporting not just digestion, but also immune function, skin health, and whole-body effects. The depth of research behind this formula is truly impressive.
  • Capsule-in-capsule delivery system: The inner capsule protects the bacteria from stomach acid, helping more of them reach the colon alive, where they’re designed to work.
  • A synbiotic, not just a probiotic: Probiotics combined with a non-fermenting prebiotic help feed beneficial bacteria without the bloating many people experience with traditional fibers.
  • No refrigeration required: It's stable at room temperature, which is especially helpful when traveling and for shipping reliability.

And remember… taking care of your microbiome isn’t just about improving digestion. It also influences:

  • Immune resilience
  • Inflammation balance
  • Gut barrier integrity
  • Skin health
  • Mood signaling
  • Metabolic function

When your gut ecosystem is supported, everything else tends to function more smoothly.

The DS-01 Daily Synbiotic by SEED is thoughtfully designed, clinically backed, and delivered properly. To explore their products, including formulations for vaginal and pediatric health, check out their full product line here.

This Week in Health & Performance: What the Latest Research Says

🍿 Ultra-Processed Foods & Appetite—Taste Still Rules: A new study adds important nuance to the idea that ultra-processed foods automatically drive overeating. If an ultra-processed food isn’t perceived as tasty (which, for me, is the case with watery low-fat yogurt, for example), people may actually eat less of it compared to more appealing whole-food alternatives (read the study here).

✈️ Jet Lag & The Body Clock: Researchers are investigating a novel compound, Mic-628, that may help reset circadian rhythms and significantly shorten jet lag recovery time. Early findings are promising, though human safety data is still pending (read more).

💪 Creatine—Still One of the Most Reliable Performance Boosters: A recent meta-analysis confirms that creatine supplementation improves strength across all ages and training backgrounds, reinforcing its reputation as one of the most evidence-backed ergogenic aids available (study here).

Coffee & Brain Aging: Large-scale data suggests coffee consumption is associated with slower brain aging. Interestingly, many benefits may extend to decaf, though caffeine itself still appears linked to reduced dementia risk (read more here).

Key Takeaway: Whether it’s appetite regulation, circadian biology, strength gains, or cognitive longevity, the research keeps pointing toward a common theme: context, perception, and physiology matter far more than simple health headlines.

Product Of The Week

::: Train Your Cardiovascular System While You Relax—& Save Up to $2,100 ♨️❤️ :::

Your cardiovascular system sits at the center of nearly every longevity marker that matters: circulation, blood pressure, oxygen delivery, and metabolic efficiency. When your heart is supported, everything downstream functions more effectively.

One of the tools I consistently use to support my cardiovascular health is infrared sauna therapy.

Infrared wavelengths promote vasodilation, allowing blood vessels to relax and expand, which supports healthy circulation and vascular function.

Each session creates a mild cardiovascular conditioning effect, but in a deeply restorative state. Heart rate increases, blood flow improves, and the nervous system remains calm rather than overstimulated.

The Sunlighten mPulse sauna is my go-to, thanks to its measured, intentional approach to infrared therapy, making it a tool that integrates seamlessly into a long-term health and performance routine.

If cardiovascular support and longevity are priorities for you, this is an easy habit to stack into your day.

Right now, you can save up to $2,100, plus receive a free gift with your purchase, now through February 28th, with code BEN here.
