Ben Greenfield [00:01:15]: Well, my guest, Mario Brainović on today's show is an entrepreneur. He's a researcher and a visionary in the field of health and wellness. And he loves to geek out on water. He's got some pretty cool and crazy concepts when it comes to water. And I've talked about water on the show before. I've talked about structured water and hydrogen water and even freaking deuterium-depleted water. But Mario's got some very interesting ideas about water that I've been looking into, ideas I actually haven't talked about before on the show. So I figured it'd be cool to get Mario on. So, Mario, welcome.

Mario Brainović [00:01:54]: Thank you for having me here. I'm super excited to share this whole story. I'm super passionate about this whole topic and have been for years. So I'm super happy to be here.

Ben Greenfield [00:02:04]: You say you've been passionate about this topic. I'm assuming you mean water for years. Tell me about that.

Mario Brainović [00:02:10]: Well, water and health and wellness. You know, like 15 years ago, I opened, I was so passionate about health and wellness, so I opened a natural pharmaceutical company which I ran for years. And I helped thousands and thousands of people. And it's super gratifying. I think this is one of the most gratifying things you can do in your life when you actually help somebody come back to health and happiness. It's kind of really a beautiful thing. I did this for many years. I had really lots of beautiful medicines and I sold the whole business to Walgreens after a decade or so.

Mario Brainović [00:02:48]: And after that, I was kind of, I wanted something. I wanted to immerse myself in something which will help people, which will help animals, which will help plants, which will help the environment. It was a very tall order, but Analemma Water ticked all the boxes. So I was super, super excited when universe kind of intervened and introduced me to Dr. Eric Laarakker, the founder of Analemma Water, and Dolf Zantinge. They've actually created this extraordinary thing called Analemma Water.

Ben Greenfield [00:03:24]: What's a natural pharmaceutical company?

Mario Brainović [00:03:26]: So I've sold only pharmaceuticals which are natural based, so they're not synthetic. And only medicines, natural medicines which basically have no side effects, which actually work very well with the body. And I truly believe that, you know, when you have, there are so many highly effective substances, you are, if somebody is aware of that, you're aware of that. So when there is a natural substance, it naturally works with your body. But when something is synthetic and most of the synthetic formulas are actually coming from nature, but then big pharma is changing the molecule so they can call it their own. But with that change, there is also a mismatch with the whole natural system. If you introduce natural things into your body, your whole system is going to respond holistically most of the time anyhow.

Ben Greenfield [00:04:26]: So what's an example of a natural pharmaceutical?

Mario Brainović [00:04:29]: Just various herbs in certain percentages that work synergistically to treat various indications.

Ben Greenfield [00:04:39]: Okay. So it's kind of like the same thing as like a supplement, just basically a non-synthetic supplement.

Mario Brainović [00:04:49]: Non synthetic because I had some actual biomedicines as well which were super, super effective, but they're not synthet in nature.

Ben Greenfield [00:04:58]: Okay, got it. And then you said after you sold that company to Walgreens and congratulations by the way, that sounds like it was probably profitable. I imagine you met these folks from Analemma Water. Tell me about that.

Mario Brainović [00:05:10]: Yeah, so my wife actually came to the lecture of Dolf Zantinge and she heard this extraordinary story and extraordinary science. I mean this whole project is 15 years in the making and 50 plus scientists working over three continents to kind of get where Analemma Water is. So she got me excited and I got involved in the project since I have all this background in clinical research, then I started doing this double-blind, placebo control studies on humans and results were really phenomenal. And you know, when you do something like that, it really, this really excites me. When you see such profound change in biology, then you can get like, I'm really like I'm geeking out, geeking out on the whole thing.

Ben Greenfield [00:06:01]: Yeah. Who's this Dolf guy you've mentioned.

Mario Brainović [00:06:04]: Dolf is one of the. Dolf Zantinge. He's also one of the founders, actually. His story is really interesting because he was one of the leading, I believe, a CEO of Dutch Telecom at the time. And he realized that there is really nasty things happening with EMFs. So he was very excited about finding ways how to mitigate those negative effects. And he found it in water. So one of the research that we were actually doing is also in EMF.

Mario Brainović [00:06:37]: We can actually touch upon those studies as well.

Ben Greenfield [00:06:40]: Okay. So, yeah, I definitely want to talk about the EMF and water thing, but your wife went to one of his lectures and that's how you found out about this new technology that he'd been working on.

Mario Brainović [00:06:51]: Yeah, yeah, yeah. And that's how I got introduced to them, to both Dr. Eric Laarakker and Dolf Zantinge. Then we started talking, and since I have all of this background and experience in marketing and everything, I came on board and I started doing studies. In the beginning, I financed studies. Just this is how I entered, actually finance studies, just to see whether something amazing is going to happen. And I didn't even do it from any business perspective. I just wanted to support the project because I really believed in it.

Mario Brainović [00:07:21]: And the results were so phenomenal that it just kind of, I want to be part of this. I want to immerse myself in it. I want this to become my life. And this is the thing that I have been doing now for years.

Ben Greenfield [00:07:32]: Before you started doing these studies, were you even interested in water much at all? Were you just like the average person drinking plastic bottled water or municipal water? Or were you kind of already into water filtration?

Mario Brainović [00:07:43]: Well, water filtration, yes. But I always knew that there was something magical and extraordinary about water. You know, all ancient spiritual traditions had this great reverence about water. There is extraordinary healing power in water, and I always intuitive understood that. So I always knew there was something there. Yet you couldn't get too much information about it. So I was thrilled to actually connect to scientists that are doing hardcore science in it. Dolf and Eric actually picked up a whole lab from a famous German scientist, Dr. Fritz Albert Popp.

Mario Brainović [00:08:23]: And he developed this technology that can capture biophotons. So every living, every biological system exudes these tiny particles of light called biophotons. The more biophotons biological system exudes, the more vitality it has. So early on in the research, they actually had this huge greenhouse where they did research on plants. And they realized that when you water plants with Analemma Water, they start to exude between 60 and 200% more light. This was the first experiment on biological system where they saw, okay, something really incredible is happening here.

Mario Brainović [00:09:05]: This was the very beginning of the research.

Ben Greenfield [00:09:09]: When you say they exude more light, is that the, what's it called? Gas discharge visualization Camera. Is that how you actually visualize something like that?

Mario Brainović [00:09:17]: Yeah, that's one of the ways. Yes. Dr. Albert Popp actually created a form of that. So we based all of our research on it because we picked up the whole lab and the whole technology. And he was, very early on, he was one of the first that developed this technology. So you could measure biophoton emissions of plants at that time.

Ben Greenfield [00:09:39]: Interesting. Okay, so you've mentioned a couple times is this Analemma Water. What is that?

Mario Brainović [00:09:46]: Analemma Water is. So we realized in our research that water currently exists in what we call a chaotic state. So it's still H2O, but H2O molecules, they actually move randomly. They move chaotically. They crash into each other constantly. But since all of this is happening on an atomic level, nobody's really aware of that. We found a way. We realized that water can exist in what we call a full spectrum coherent state.

Ben Greenfield [00:10:14]: A full spectrum coherent state.

Mario Brainović [00:10:19]: Yes. So when you use our technology, what happens when you use Analemma and you submerge it in the water and you start swirling, any H2O molecule that comes to close proximity to the wand starts to mimic the exact structure of water that is inside.

Ben Greenfield [00:10:34]: Well, back up just a second. You said a wand. So you're literally putting a device into water, and that's how you're making the water, this new kind of water that you're trying to create.

Mario Brainović [00:10:47]: Yeah. To explain the science of it, we realized that water always picks up the most dominant frequency of its environment. Always. So it's so important how we treat water, because water is always going to pick up the frequency. This is where it gets interesting. People usually go to the chemical side of things when they think about water and the filtration. But even when you take the chemical out, the frequency of that chemical still stays in. And you're actually drinking the water and inducing that frequency into your body, just like the chemical was inside.

Mario Brainović [00:11:22]: And this is where Analemma actually shines. It clears completely energetically the frequency of that water. It primes water, it puts water in this very particular liquid crystalline state. There are these coherent fields that start to emerge in the water. And water enters into, let's call it the unison. It starts to move in harmony with itself. So it's no longer separate, it's no longer chaotic, it actually becomes one. And through this unique process, water becomes alive. It becomes empowered and it can do so much for a health and wellness. And that's what we proved through all of our double-blind, placebo control studies.

Ben Greenfield [00:12:03]: Based on the idea of the hydrogen and the oxygen in water, when you say water becomes one, what does that mean from a chemical standpoint?

Mario Brainović [00:12:11]: H2O molecules, colloquially speaking, they start to join hands and they form a liquid crystalline structure. It enters into liquid crystalline state. I always like to explain it to people. For instance, if you take a light bulb of 5 watts, it will give you some light. But if you take 5 watt laser, which is a coherent or focused form of light, it can drill a hole through your table. So it's the same power, but the focus is the structure of light or the structure of water plays the difference.

Ben Greenfield [00:12:52]: So when I look at. What's that guy? Gerald Pollack at University of Washington, where he has exposed water in a small glass pipette to photons of light and shown that the water changes its structure to create. He calls it EZ Water, Exclusive Zone Water. Where the, I believe it's the, I might be remembering this backwards possibly, but I think the interior lining of the glass vessel is negatively charged and the water forms a positive charge.

Ben Greenfield [00:13:23]: And water is able to travel through a vessel against gravity, the same as it would in a plant, based on the way that the light is structuring the water. Is what you're describing the same thing as that or is this different?

Mario Brainović [00:13:38]: It's actually different. This is where we can see that we don't understand anything about. Dr. Gerald Porrik is a dear friend of ours. And we actually compared EZ Water, Exclusion Zone Water, and our water, and it's actually not the same. So we came to our particular structure, let's call it that way, in completely different ways. So we were using. It takes one full year for us to create what we call the mother water.

Ben Greenfield [00:14:06]: Did you say the mother water?

Mario Brainović [00:14:07]: The mother water, yes.

Ben Greenfield [00:14:09]: Okay.

Mario Brainović [00:14:10]: And it involves precious metals and involves lightning. It involves various. But once it passes through the fifth stage, when water enters into this very particular state, it never goes back. This is the difference between various other technologies. You have vortexing, you have crystals, you have magnets that can form some sort of a structure. But we tested basically almost all of the devices out there, and water holds the structure anywhere between a couple of minutes and day and a half. Then the water molecules break and the water goes back to chaos.

Ben Greenfield [00:14:45]: You mean like if I had a structured water filter device in my house or one of those pour-over devices that structures water, or I take, some people take like a glass mason jar of water with some minerals in it and set out in the sunlight, that would structure the water. But what you're saying is that if I just let that sit for a while, the nature of the structuring that, I believe is like H3O2 bonding and the formation of that Exclusion Zone, that eventually goes away after a day, a day and a half or so.

Mario Brainović [00:15:15]: Yeah. A day and a half is like the top structuring devices can actually reach a day and a half. And then the water molecules break, usually just a couple of minutes. But the difference with Analemma Water is once it passes this fifth stage, it never goes back. We tested it now for six and a half consecutive years after just one treatment, and water never went back to chaos. That's the main difference. And we were actually, it's really extraordinary. We were surprised how extraordinarily stable the structure is once it enters into this space.

Ben Greenfield [00:15:52]: Okay, so to make this water, you just mentioned a few things I can't skim over. You said precious metals, you said lightning. I mean, what's the secret sauc here? How are you actually making this?

Mario Brainović [00:16:04]: Yeah, we decided not to talk about this. That's why we decided that we didn't, won't even patent the whole procedure because it's very complex and it's going to be very hard for somebody kind of to just stumble upon it. So we don't want to. We decided not to share too many details, but we just can say that these kind of elements, precious metals, and let's say geometry and lightning, plays a huge part in making the water extraordinarily stable.

Ben Greenfield [00:16:35]: Do you guys ever get called out on that? Like people asking you if there's also unicorns and dwarfs and orcs and wizards? I mean, surely some people have pushed back on that from a scientific standpoint.

Mario Brainović [00:16:47]: That's a totally valid question. But this is why we have invested so much in the science. That's why we're doing double-blind, placebo-controlled studies, third party tested, so that we didn't even want to. We went through the regular route of proving that the water actually changes the state, but we didn't want to stay there. We wanted to prove what are the effects on actual biological systems. We now, our research proved that 99% of our molecules are water. We're basically very clever, H2O, when you look at it, and that off the bat tells you there is something extraordinarily important about water.

Mario Brainović [00:17:28]: And we now know that when you change water, entire biology follows. We proved short-term effects, mid-term effects and long-term effects of drinking Analemma Water.

Ben Greenfield [00:17:42]: Okay, got it. So you said the liquid crystalline state is what this water actually is. So if I look at that under a microscope or whatever, how would a liquid crystalline state compare to just looking at regular water?

Mario Brainović [00:17:57]: Well, it's going to be very hard to observe that. There are ways in near infrared, ultraviolet, visual spectroscopy, in all the other things. But the key element is scientific community is still kind of vague there because there aren't no sophisticated equipment that can accurately tell you, yes, structured has been formed. We're not talking about molecular level, we're talking about atomic level.

Ben Greenfield [00:18:27]: So when you put the water through all these stages and you say it goes through the fifth stage, how do you know when it's ready? Like how do you guys know when it's in the proper state?

Mario Brainović [00:18:37]: Yes. The first thing that we always test is biophoton emissions. So there is a dramatic difference in biophoton emissions when you water the plant with regular water and when you water the plant with Analemma Water. This was the first thing that we tested and retested for many, many, many, many times. So we exactly know when water used was coherent or when it was regular because there is dramatic difference in biophoton emissions. So this was the first thing that we do. Maybe this is a cool moment to jump in into our first human study.

Ben Greenfield [00:19:13]: Yeah, I'm curious about that because obviously I'm not a plant, and I have plants and it'd be cool to see what happens, but I'm actually more interested in what would happen to me if I drank it.

Mario Brainović [00:19:22]: Yeah, totally cool. So since this water is what we call an electromagnetic phenomenon. We wanted, we were kind of thinking what's the most electromagnetic part of human biology that we can very accurately measure? And it was our brainwaves.

Ben Greenfield [00:19:41]: Oh, I was going to guess the heart.

Mario Brainović [00:19:43]: The heart, I agree. But it's very. You can, let's say you can measure it very accurately through qEEG and it's kind of very easy. It's very available technology. So this is, I agree with you, Heart is much stronger and the field is really powerful. But this is something that you can measure.

Mario Brainović [00:20:02]: And the whole science around brainwaves, it's rather old and well-established. So this is the route we decided to go. So we did a double-blind study where we brought two genetically identical twins. So it Was a golden standard study. You have two individuals which are genetically identical. We gave glass of water, glass of regular water, to one and glass of Analemma Water to the other one doctor administering the water didn't know which one was which and twins didn't know which one was which. And we monitored their brainwave patterns through qEEG.

Mario Brainović [00:20:41]: As soon as a twin that took a couple of sips of regular water, we saw zero change in brainwaves. There was literally nothing. Everything basically stayed the same, which you would kind of expect. But almost as soon as the twin took couple of sips of Analemma Water, there was an almost instant better connection between the left and right hemisphere of the brain. An almost instant harmonizing effect on the brain wave. So this was first really powerful and irrefutable evidence that something biologically remarkable happens when people drink Analemma Water.

Ben Greenfield [00:21:19]: Did you switch out the twins then and give the opposite twin the water and the other one the regular water just to make sure that one twin didn't have some weird defect that made them not respond to any water at all?

Mario Brainović [00:21:31]: Exactly. We actually repeated and we didn't even want to do it at the spot. We waited three weeks. So three weeks later, we repeated the experiment and we saw exactly the same thing happening, but now with the other twin.

Ben Greenfield [00:21:42]: Okay, so the twin that originally got the coherent water then didn't show the positive brainwave response, but the twin that got the regular water and then got the coherent water did.

Mario Brainović [00:21:53]: Exactly. That was the exact thing that happened. And the first twin took a couple of sips of regular water. Again, it was nothing. So it was totally cool because these are two genetically identical twins. You could see it's like you copy-pasted the event, which was really interesting for us to observe. And there was also this delta coherence that started to happen. Usually delta coherence happens when people either meditate or they use some form of psychedelics, but in a much cooler way. So what happens is that your entire brain gets connected.

Mario Brainović [00:22:29]: It enters in a state of coherence and this only happens after a couple of sips.

Ben Greenfield [00:22:35]: Okay, so do I need, let's say I want to use or make coherent water. Do I need like lightning and precious metals? Or how do you actually take this data and this water and make this like a consumer friendly available form of water?

Mario Brainović [00:22:51]: This is it. What we do is when we create the mother water, since water always picks up the most dominant frequency of its environment, our whole quest was to create the most dominant positive frequency water there is. That's why we created the mother water. What we did then, we put the mother water in a crystal vial. A crystal actually serves as a superconductor. It allows the frequency of mother water to pass through without any loss. And of course, the second purpose is that it creates the barrier between the rest of the water and the mother water within. So you just take the wand, you swirl through the glass of water, and any H2O molecule, chaotic H2O molecule that comes into close proximity to the mother water, starts to mimic its exact structure.

Ben Greenfield [00:23:39]: Do you have this wand with you? Can you hold it up?

Mario Brainović [00:23:42]: So this is it. This is the wand, and the mother water is inside. And since water always picks up the most dominant frequency or its environment, when you submerge it in the water, and when you start swirling, any H2 molecule that comes in the close proximity to it starts to mimic its exact structure. And in effect, after just 30 seconds of swirling, you get a glass of mother water.

Ben Greenfield [00:24:09]: 30 seconds. Okay.

Mario Brainović [00:24:10]: 30 seconds. Yes. It depends of course on the, if we're just talking about 2 deflators glass, then it's 30 seconds. If it's a larger quantity of water, you have to swirl longer.

Ben Greenfield [00:24:23]: So a few questions. I got a lot of logistical questions about this. This is very interesting. What happens if I take that wand and I like, I'll leave it next to my WiFi router or something like that, or some form of EMFs. We were talking about EMFs earlier. I'm just curious if that will ruin the wand, change the information in the water. So what happens if it gets exposed to something like that?

Mario Brainović [00:24:45]: It's so great that you asked this question, because we realized that water goes into deeper chaos when you leave it next to WiFi router. So all the EMFs, all 5G had actually really detrimental effect on water.

Ben Greenfield [00:25:00]: Or death metal or people with vampire energy. I know it sounds woo woo, but I have seen some of those studies on water and you can kind of change the structure of water based on the negative or positive emotions or frequencies that you get it exposed to.

Mario Brainović [00:25:14]: Totally. Water really responds to all of those frequencies. So what happens with the water? We actually did various tests on it. We radiated water with 5G mother water, and it never lost its structure. So the key element here is that we actually did studies on plants where we watered plants with 5G-radiated water and the plants died. And we treated the same water, the same radiated water with the wand and we watered the plant again and the plant thrived.

Ben Greenfield [00:25:55]: That's crazy. So it could take water that's actually non-coherent, non-structured, whatever, and actually change the nature of the water?

Mario Brainović [00:26:02]: Exactly. And not only that, what we actually did, we did a study on people. We actually took people using cell phones for three minutes and we monitored their brainwaves. And this is something that people usually don't know. But cell phones have really detrimental effect on the state of our brainwaves. And anybody can test it in any moment. It's very clear. You can see the brainwave patterns before and after.

Mario Brainović [00:26:29]: And what we did is then gave regular water to some people after they used the cell phone for three minutes and Analemma Water to the other ones. And we saw exactly the same phenomenon as with the twin study. So people who drank Analemma water, their brainwave patterns immediately harmonized, while the people that drank regular water, this, let's say chaotic, incoherent pattern of brainwaves persisted much, much, much, much longer.

Ben Greenfield [00:27:01]: Do you have any hypothesis as to why that's happening?

Mario Brainović [00:27:04]: As I mentioned, this water is a electromagnetic phenomenon and there are natural life-affirming frequencies and there are unnatural frequencies. And this water brings every biological system back into harmony, electromagnetic harmony. And this is actually a perfect moment to share one of our results of early studies that we did, which really proved that something extraordinary from the biological point of view happens here. We actually took seeds, which are these tiny pieces of life, and we watered some with regular water and some with Analemma Water. And we monitored biophoton emissions to see whether something would happen. And seeds that were watered with regular water, we didn't see no change. But the seeds, they were watered with Analemma Water, we started seeing these sinusoidal shapes, peaks and valleys of biophoton emission.

Mario Brainović [00:28:07]: It looked like it started to breathe light, but in a very long form. And it was really peculiar. We actually connected to other scientists because we couldn't figure out what was happening there. And after a while, we realized that it started to follow the tides. So Analemma Water connected this tiny piece of life to its larger, to the circadian rhythm of the Earth. It connected this tiny piece of life to its larger electromagnetic environment. That's why I'm saying that there are natural frequencies of life, which are life-affirming. And then there are unnatural or made frequencies which interfere with natural cycles.

Ben Greenfield [00:28:57]: That's fascinating. I can't really explain how that works, but that's fascinating.

Mario Brainović [00:29:01]: We couldn't really explain it. We just witnessed it every single time. And it really showed us that there is something really, really important there. This was early on, so that's why we invested so much into science behind it because we knew that if you expose a biological system to this water, it really profoundly changes.

Ben Greenfield [00:29:23]: Yeah. So the one thing is interesting, like why couldn't you, because I'm lazy, like I don't like to stir everything. Why couldn't you make like a, you know, like one of those British-style pitchers, and just put like a glass cylinder down the middle of it that has the coherent water in it, so then you just fill up your whole water pitcher and then pour the water out to have your water? Does that make sense?

Mario Brainović [00:29:44]: Yes. And this is exactly what will be coming up very soon. We came up with the wand first and we didn't want to wait. This is 15 years in the making. We didn't want to come out before we had more than solid evidence that this thing really has profound effect on people, animals and plants and the environment. We're going to touch that. So this was our first thing that we came up with. We are very soon going to be coming out with state of the art filtration system, which is going to be really amazing and it's going to make the water coherent.

Mario Brainović [00:30:22]: So it's going to be the ultimate water treatment system.

Ben Greenfield [00:30:25]: Well, that's what I wanted to ask you. Because this doesn't filter the water, right? Because you even sent me, I haven't installed it yet, but you sent me like an inline system for the plumbing in my house. I'm assuming that the water is passing through that and passing through a wand almost similar to the pitcher idea that I just described. But that's not actually filtering the water, right?

Mario Brainović [00:30:43]: No, it's not. But this is what I mentioned earlier. People usually talk about filtration. Even if you take the toxin out, the frequency of it is still there. And once you electromagnetically change the water, even if it's tap water, your body is going to work much, much, much better with it because it has changed. It is more harmonic. And even though the toxin is there, your body will work with it in a much, much, much better way.

Ben Greenfield [00:31:12]: Yeah. So this inline system for the house, this device that you can put in the pipe in your house, this would theoretically make any of the water I'm drinking in my house. I'll install it so it goes through that after it passes through my carbon block filtration system. So right now my water setup is I've got a whole house carbon block filtration system and then that passes through a structured watering device, and then I'll have it pass through this coherent pipe afterwards. But this would mean I could like take a bath in coherent water, right?

Mario Brainović [00:31:44]: That's, it's so lovely that you mentioned this. I mean, I haven't actually even covered the double-blind, placebo-controlled studies that we did on people drinking the water. But let's jump in directly there. When we created this whole house unit, our whole thing was, we hypothesized since 99% of our molecules of water were basically water, what would happen? And since water always picks up the most dominant frequency of its environment, we were thinking what would happen if people will lay down in Analemma Water for half an hour.

Ben Greenfield [00:32:19]: When you say lay down in it, you make it sound like it's a mud puddle. You mean like take a bath in it?

Mario Brainović [00:32:23]: Just taking a bath? Yeah, just taking a bath, nothing more. You just take, you know, just chill out in your bathtub for half an hour. So I connected to my dear friend David Perez and Dr. Greg Lane. So since he had Dr. Greg Lane and he had this equipment that can measure, very accurately measure various vitals, we wanted to do a study and we did 100 people study, where we measured cardiac output, stroke volume, blood viscosity and heart rate variability with people before and after they were taking a bath for half an hour. We saw, in every single person in the study, we saw pretty dramatic improvement in cardiac output, stroke volume, blood viscosity, but more importantly, heart rate variability. The, the minimum improvement in heart rate variability we saw was 30%.

Ben Greenfield [00:33:18]: Wow, that's fascinating. So you actually get some kind of like a transdermal absorption?

Mario Brainović [00:33:23]: Exactly. Yeah. But again, this water is an electromagnetic phenomenon, again. So it happens on, I would say, more than several levels. It's not just through absorbing the water. It's Nikola Tesla said, I would say one of the greatest scientists of all time, he said if you want to know the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration. And water is broadband absorber, receiver and transmitter of energy, frequency and vibration is therefore at the very heart of it. So we are vibrational beings.

Mario Brainović [00:34:03]: And when you take a bath in high frequency water, your entire system responds.

Ben Greenfield [00:34:13]: Well, I'm going to try it. I haven't put that filter on yet, but I'm definitely going to try it. You mentioned that you guys did more human double-blinded, controlled trials. I'm assuming this was beyond the twins study that you talked about with drinking it.

Mario Brainović [00:34:27]: Yeah, this twin study was at the very beginning. So since we saw this huge uprising vitality in plants, we wanted to see what kind of study can we do that's going to measure energy levels in humans. That's why we decided to do ATP study. Adenosine triphosphate, which is the primary energy currency of the cell. It's directly responsible for powering the majority of cellular processes inside of our body, including muscle contraction, nerve impulse transmission, biochemical reactions. Basically every heartbeat, every breath depends on ATP. And there are so many implications of having high ATP levels. So we decided to do a double-blind, placebo-controlled study where we're going to measure ATP levels in humans.

Mario Brainović [00:35:14]: We employed luciferase, which is an enzyme that catalyzes light production in bioluminescent organisms. And due to its extraordinary sensitivity, you can very accurately measure ATP levels in humans. We took a snapshot of ATP levels in participants of the study. Then they drank a liter and a half of Analemma Water per day without changing anything else in the world. So didn't change their exercise regime, they didn't change their diet. Everything else stayed the same. Except the only thing they changed is that they drank a liter and a half of Analemma Water per day. After two months, we took another snapshot to see whether something changed.

Mario Brainović [00:35:54]: And what we saw was 20% rise in overall mitochondrial energy of the body over the placebo. When you calculate the placebo in, that's almost one-third. And we're not talking about here about Red Bull energy. We're talking about actual mitochondrial energy of the body, you know, and scientists now agree that one of the key causes of cellular aging is the decline in mitochondrial function. And we proved that just by drinking the water, with no change whatsoever, your entire mitochondrial function increases more than significantly.

Ben Greenfield [00:36:30]: That's big. That's actually really incredible. You talk about how you're using this in water. You stir for 30 seconds in water, or maybe you use this whole house device and take a bath in it or whatever. I guess drink the water from your tap if it's going through that. But what would happen if I stir an Old Fashioned with it? Like does the alcohol or other components in water, let's say coffee, tea, etc., will it work on other liquids?

Mario Brainović [00:36:56]: Anything? This is the thing. If the liquid has H2O molecules, they will form this beautiful, liquid crystalline state. It will enter into this very beautiful, liquid crystalline state. And when you drink teas, coffees, you can bring wine into cooking. This is really interesting.

Ben Greenfield [00:37:14]: Nothing to do with wine. My wife's going to like some of that.

Mario Brainović [00:37:16]: Yeah, and not only that, we actually brought sommeliers that were actually testing. So it changes the taste, it improves the taste of wine. So we can, we even kind of, we were laughing about it, that we can take cheap wine and turn it into expensive one just because the taste profile changes dramatically.

Ben Greenfield [00:37:35]: Yeah, that's an upgrade on the old Tim Ferriss 4-hour body latte frother in your wine trick, which also works by the way, folks. Rapidly aerates a glass of wine and upgrades the flavor dramatically. The temperature, how about that? What if the liquid is warm, cold? Will this thing withstand heat? Like if I stir a hot cup of coffee?

Mario Brainović [00:37:55]: Well, you can, but we always say since this is a very delicate crystal. We don't want to put it in too hot of a liquid, otherwise it might break. So we say warm, no worries. Cold, no worries. But. But not boiling water. So if it stands there, we always say when you're making your coffee or your tea, make the water coherent before you boil it.

Ben Greenfield [00:38:18]: Okay, got it. I'm curious for you, are you using this in every glass of water that you drink during the day? And I ask that because I've interviewed guys like Tyler Lebaron and Alex Tarnava, who are hydrogen water experts and they recommend diurnal dosing. Like you do a glass of hydrogen water in the morning and in the evening, but not all the water has to have hydrogen added to it. Are you seeing any type of dose response effect? Meaning like the more water that you make coherent, the better the effects that you get?

Mario Brainović [00:38:50]: Well, I'm kind of always relying on hardcore science. So we haven't done studies on that. We always had people drinking liter and a half of Analemma Water per day. But me personally, I only drink Analemma Water. I don't drink any other. All of my water is coherent.

Ben Greenfield [00:39:07]: Do you use the filter? You just stir everything with the wand?

Mario Brainović [00:39:10]: What I do is I actually buy a natural spring watering glass and then I make it coherent.

Ben Greenfield [00:39:16]: Let's say I owned or bought four of those wands and I go and fill up a bunch of, let's say glass carboys with natural spring water, which is a great way to get water, especially if you can't filter your water. And I just leave them in there, right? Just let them float in there. And you know, I'm careful when I pour out the water so it doesn't break.

Mario Brainović [00:39:34]: It will work. It will do its job. We already tested that, but it's just a matter of time. So if you just put the wand in or you're swirling, I mean some people have even done, they've kind of used the wand in the bathtub. And they did it for 20 minutes. And then they bring water in coherent state. And then they take a bath in it.

Ben Greenfield [00:39:53]: They stir the water for 20 minutes. That's ridiculous.

Mario Brainović [00:39:56]: Yeah. I mean, if you can afford whole house system, then you just install it and all the water in your house is coherent. But if you can, it's really not that expensive. But of course, you know, if some people can't afford it, I would actually even say that you open the faucet and you put your wand underneath the faucet.

Ben Greenfield [00:40:17]: That makes sense. And you could probably just like hang it with a, with like a noose or something if you were lazy.

Mario Brainović [00:40:23]: Exactly. And you're going to get the same, the very same effect as if you're having a whole house system.

Ben Greenfield [00:40:29]: Yeah. So the whole house one. I checked your website. I think it's like 1,800 bucks. But how does that compare to the wand? How much does one of those wands cost?

Mario Brainović [00:40:38]: Wands are cost $180. We were really kind of, we want to make this technology available to basically everyone. And if you take care of it, it's just you need to treat it like a jewel because if it falls, it will break.

Ben Greenfield [00:40:53]: I know I broke a couple. I'm really clumsy. I actually did break a couple.

Mario Brainović [00:40:58]: Yeah, I have a lot of them, of course, but I broke one and I was super bummed when that happened.

Ben Greenfield [00:41:05]: I was too. It felt like I just. Because you have this magical wand and I just. Yeah, I forget how I broke it. But yeah, I felt bad.

Mario Brainović [00:41:13]: Yeah. But the key thing, if you take care of it and if you don't break it, it will create coherent water for you for life. So we wanted to keep it. We knew that we could kind of increase the price like much. We knew we could price it for $500 or whatever, but we wanted to keep it at a price that most families on the planet can actually afford it.

Ben Greenfield [00:41:38]: Yeah. Yeah. So you're into this coherent water thing, Mario. And I'm super happy because most of the time people actually experience the change almost instantly. And this is what I love. But of course, as I mentioned, the fastest change we saw is in the brainwaves and then everything else happens I haven't even touched on. We did a double-blind, placebo-controlled study on the state of our microbiome.

Ben Greenfield [00:42:25]: Oh, really?

Mario Brainović [00:42:26]: Yeah. That's totally cool. We are now actually expanding on this particular study and we're doing DNA sequencing of an entire microbiome. Because science has now pinpointed the exact pathway by which every species of bacteria has an effect on any particular area of health, we're going to have an entire tree of effects. But to come back to the study that we already did, we did a double-blind, placebo-controlled study on dysbiosis index of the microbiome. Dysbiosis index measures the degree of deviation within the microbiome, taking into account all the bacteriophyla and species and their weighing factor. Again, we had the same thing. We took a snapshot of people's microbiome, then they drank liter and a half of Analemma Water per day without changing anything else in the world.

Mario Brainović [00:43:18]: And after a couple of months, we did another snapshot and we saw 17% improvement on the dysbiosis index. But more importantly, we saw sharp decline in negative bad bacteria. Not negative. All bacteria are good, it just depends on the ratio. And we saw rise in good bacteria. So this inspired us to take this other much larger study that we're doing now, where we are really doing a deep dive into the small nuances of the microbiome. I have to mention, it's a crossover study. One person's microbiome is going to be doing the placebo and Analemma Water.

Mario Brainović [00:44:04]: We can actually, on a single microbiome, see the actual change because microbiome is like a fingerprint. So it's very hard to compare one with the other.

Ben Greenfield [00:44:17]: Explain to people the benefits and mechanics of a crossover study.

Mario Brainović [00:44:21]: So a crossover study is in this case, it's a perfect study because one person is going to be placebo-controlled and is going to drink Analemma Water, but in different period of time. So for instance, for a month a person is just going to be drinking regular water without knowing that they're drinking regular water. And we are going to see whether some changes happen in the microbiome. Then we have a flash out state where we're just waiting for the whole system to clean itself out. Then people are starting to drink Analemma Water, and again they're not going to know that they're drinking Analemma Water. And we are measuring again the effect it has on the microbiome. So this is a very, very accurate and scientific way to see if Analemma Water can actually produce a profound change in the microbiome.

Ben Greenfield [00:45:22]: Right. With the crossover, you're basically taking a participant or set of participants and doing both sides of the scientific experiment on that group.

Mario Brainović [00:45:31]: Exactly. On that person. So every single person is both the placebo and the real thing.

Ben Greenfield [00:45:38]: Yeah, yeah. That's fascinating. I'll be curious to see what the results of that are.

Mario Brainović [00:45:42]: Yeah, yeah. It's actually going to be coming out very soon, I believe with already a month. And we're actually doing a double-blind, placebo-controlled NAD study as well. Since there is a great correlation between ATP and NAD, we really want to see how much would NAD levels rise just by drinking the water.

Ben Greenfield [00:46:00]: Yeah, that'll be interesting. So you're pretty plugged into this stuff. I mean, you ran a natural pharmaceuticals company. You're obviously drinking what many people would consider to be unicorn to your crazy, newfangled water. I'm curious, what else are you doing for yourself to stay healthy? Do you follow any type of special diet or exercise or do you have any specific biohacking protocols or stacks that you use?

Mario Brainović [00:46:26]: Coming from the whole health and wellness thing? I use many things. But this is what I love about water because you have to do it anyhow and it treats so many things. But to answer your question, I believe that one of the most impactful things a person can do to remain healthy is meditation. This is something that I really do regularly. When you enter into, and I believe that this water helps tremendously there.

Ben Greenfield [00:47:03]: I was going to say, did you drink the coherent water beforehand to shift your brain into that delta coherence you were talking about?

Mario Brainović [00:47:09]: Well, since I drink this water only, this kind of water, it actually has a prolonged effect. So I'm not drinking any other. But it's not like I'm doing it with intention to drink before. But what I can say is when you meditate, when you connect to yourself in a meaningful way, you actually get very sensitive to your personal energies. Whatever happens within you, and it doesn't stop there, you actually get connected to your electromagnetic environment. You can actually sense what's happening around you. This makes you very intuitive and I would say that it makes you kind. It makes you, it deepens your experience of life.

Ben Greenfield [00:47:59]: Yeah, well, what's meditation look like for you?

Mario Brainović [00:48:02]: I do breathing exercises in a very particular way. And then I just it, this breathing allows me to enter into a state where there is, there are very little thoughts. But it's more than that actually. It energizes every single cell in my body. For me, it's very visceral, very palpable experience where every single part of my body starts to tingle. And then if I really go deep enough, then there is this sense of bliss that starts to come out of me. And I really love that.

Ben Greenfield [00:48:40]: Wow. How long does that take?

Mario Brainović [00:48:42]: Well, it depends. Day to day, it depends where I am in the moment. Sometimes it takes 1 minute, 2 minutes, sometimes it takes a bit longer and sometimes it doesn't happen that way, but it doesn't really matter. What I believe is because when you anchor yourself in that particular practice, when you anchor yourself in sensing this energy of who you are at the deepest level. Then it becomes easy. It's like you're never leaving it. You're always connected to it. Then you just immerse yourself in it and you step out. And then you again immerse yourself and you step out. So it's like a dance that you're doing entire day. You never leave it completely.

Mario Brainović [00:49:28]: So you're always feeling it in the background of your life experience.

Ben Greenfield [00:49:34]: That's interesting. You know, I meditate every day too. Remember your quote about Nikola Tesla and how to understand the universe? You must think of everything in terms of energy, vibration and frequency.

Mario Brainović [00:49:45]: Yes.

Ben Greenfield [00:49:46]: If I had to modify that statement, I would also say. Well, I would say light, sound, vibration and frequency. Just even though light and sound are technically energy. I meditate every day, but every time I meditate I use light, sound, electricity and vibration, and it gets me so deep and it is so profound. I usually do it at about 4:30 in the morning or after lunch. At about 2:30 pm in the afternoon. I use at home a Shiftwave chair which vibrates my entire body. I use a roXiva lamp which delivers light to my eyes, through closed lids.

Ben Greenfield [00:50:36]: I use over-ear headphones that play binaural beats and other frequencies. And then I use pulsed electromagnetic field frequencies on top of the vibration. And when I travel I do the same thing. But I have portable devices. I have an Apollo for the vibration. I have a Hapbee for the magnetic stimulation. I have a Vizr for the light-sound stimulation. It's called the NeuroVizr.

Ben Greenfield [00:51:05]: And if you're listening and you're interested in the tippy-top scale of total biohacked meditation that shifts you into a state within like 30 seconds flat using light, sound, vibration and electricity, paired with meditation, is absolutely incredible. Like it's one of the favorite parts of my very early morning hours or my afternoon. And that's obviously kind of fringe, but oh my goodness, it's the best stack ever.

Mario Brainović [00:51:37]: I love it. I'm definitely going to try it out. Just listening about it kind of got me tingling about the potential.

Ben Greenfield [00:51:46]: It's very similar to taking a heroic dose of psilocybin, but having absolutely no drugs in your system finishing the session. And for me it's usually anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes long and then the entire rest of the day is incredible. And you've obviously not go. You don't have any drugs in your system, you don't have any neurotransmitters to replenish. But I'm all for natural living and sitting outside in your backyard doing, you know, some form of mindfulness meditation. But man, once you start to introduce technologies, it's crazy. The rapid shifts you can produce in the brain.

Mario Brainović [00:52:22]: Love it. And I love that you're doing it at 4:30. It's like it's the God hour, I would call it.

Ben Greenfield [00:52:28]: Your theta wave signaling is through the roof at that time.

Mario Brainović [00:52:31]: Totally. And the whole experience is much, much, much more intense.

Sometimes it's yoga nidra beats, sometimes it's meditation beats, whatever I play through my phone. And then I travel.
