Correct Your Posture (And Sore, Tired Muscles) For Good
And…how long have you been in that position, and how many times have you fidgeted in said position? Too many times to count? I figured. ;)
You may not know it, but you have things in your back that are called “posture springs,” that act as elastic structures, allowing you more flexibility and a healthier back. But the way you move and sit often prevents them from working at full capacity.
The good news is that once you get into the proper posture for sitting, standing, and moving in general, you’ll be able to activate these “springs” and suddenly—no more sore back and no more tired muscles.
Too good to be true? Stay with me.
You’ve likely been ranted at about posture your whole life, whether it be from a parent or teacher, and it’s been ingrained in your mind to move and sit a certain way (i.e. to not “slouch,” etc.) but what if I told you you’ve been doing it all wrong?
Yes, you’ve been taught the wrong “shape” of posture.
And the reason behind this? You’ve been taught posture for specific parts, not the whole. A specialist will patch up the part, rather than get to the root of the problem, which in this case, is your posture.
Here’s a secret: lifting weights, alternative therapies, and expensive chairs aren’t going to resolve your aching muscle issue. It’s all patchwork.
