  1. Matt Godar says:

    Hi Ben,

First I’d like to say I really appreciate the effort and dedication you show in diving deep into the various topics you cover to make sure that us, the listener, are as well informed as possible.

I had a quick question regarding blood surgar levels. The other day I had a big carb refeed of gluten free pancakes. About 45 min-hour later I went in to get a bunch of cursory blood tests for a physical. It turns out that I had a blood glucose level of 75mg/dL. I was expecting it to be much higher considering the starch content of the meal. Is this a potential good sign of increased insulin sensitivity, or is this fairly common?

Lastly, do you have a glucometer and a ketometer you recommend?

    Thank you,

    Matt
