A New Conference About The Politics Of Sex
This September 9th-11th, the Politics of Sex Conference in Lebanon, Tennessee is happening just outside of Nashville. This is a brand-new event that will be put on by my friends at the Cross Politics Network, where I have been a podcast guest in the past.
What's the conference all about? The name kinda says it all, but, well, sex is inherently political. What you do in the privacy of the bedroom never stays there. It always impacts the world. A culture is either built on the fruitfulness of a godly union between one man and one woman, or else it dies from self-inflicted fruitlessness and sexual rebellion against God. Worldview matters, the nuclear family matters, definitions of male and female matter, godly children matter. Our sexual choices and values are building and cultivating a particular kind of public square.
You can now join the conference in Lebanon, Tennesee, along with Pastor Douglas Wilson (another former podcast guest of mine), Voddie Baucham, Doug TenNapel, and David Bahnsen. On Saturday at the event, they will have 9 SWAT talks with over 20 speakers arming you to go out into the world to take dominion with your gifts and abilities. Registration is live now here.
Talks you can expect include:
- Pastor Toby Sumpter—Molotov Monogamy: The Political Power of Marriage & Family
- Pastor Voddie Baucham—Critical Sex Theory: How to keep Marx and Freud out of your bedroom
- Doug TenNappel—Sex, Lies, and the Prophetic Poet
- David Bahnsen—Punk Rock Home Ec
- Doug Wilson Gay Pulpits—The Politics of Feminism, Homosexuality, and Unfaithful Children
Early registration ends August 9th and the fee goes up $50 bucks after that date! Seating is limited, so get in soon. When you register now, you'll also get a free copy of my ebook Sex, Porn & Polyamory (and use code Greenfield on the conference registration page so they know I sent ya).
This Is Not Your Grandma's Liver & Onions
You’ve likely heard me talk about how nutrient-dense organ meats are, and one incredibly tasty way to consume organ meats and actually *like* the flavor is my twist on the classic “liver, bacon, and onions” recipe. I call it…drumroll, please…Fried Liver With Pork Belly & Onions.
I whipped this up the other night for my family and it was an absolute, immediate hit. For this recipe, I used beef liver and pork belly from US Wellness Meats (save 15% with code BEN). Here's how you can make this simple recipe:
- Sauté down thick-cut pork belly and cook off the fat
- Caramelize sliced white or yellow onions in the pork fat
- Pat the beef liver dry (preferably after it has been soaking in kefir, buttermilk, or lemon juice for 24 hours) and then dredge it through whipped pastured eggs and buckwheat flour (in that order—and I used Himalayan Buckwheat Flour, which is a big feature of my new cookbook as one of the most nutrient-dense starches on the planet)
- Add a generous amount of salt and pepper to the flour mix if you want, along with any spices you desire
- Cook the liver down on each side in a cast iron pan with butter and pork fat. When the liver is almost done (about 4-6 minutes per side), add the pork back into the pan to finish it off to absolutely perfect crispiness.
- Pile the liver and pork belly onto a serving platter, cover with onions, drizzle with hot sauce, ketchup, Dijon mustard (save 20% off of Joey's hot sauce with code BEN20 and save 10% off my favorite ketchup and mustard from Primal Kitchen with code BEN) and any savory sauces you’d like…and enjoy!

::: Conquer Stress, Sleep Better, Perform Better: Meet Cove :::
Peak performance starts with a calm mind and a good night’s rest. Cove, a new science-backed wearable, helps you get both, so you can be your best self. Developed by neuroscientists, Cove is worn in 20-minute increments (1-2 times per day) and works by delivering carefully calibrated vibrations to the skin behind your ears. This subtle stimulation promotes brain activity that improves your resilience to stress and mental wellbeing.
While most devices simply track what your body is doing, Cove goes a step further, actively enhancing how you feel–and what you can achieve. By improving your sleep and lowering your stress, Cove helps you tackle each day with improved energy and focus. With Cove, like with fitness, consistency is key to optimal results. That’s because brain pathways are like muscles: the more you use them, the stronger they get at a neuronal level. By using Cove daily, you strengthen synapses in the insular cortex, a brain structure critical to emotional balance. MRIs before and after 30 days with Cove show that daily use strengthens connections between the insular cortex and the brain’s emotion center–changes that coincide with tangible benefits. I've been putting mine on in the wee hours of the morning and before my afternoon naps.
In research studies, users experienced 50% better sleep and 41% less stress after a month of use. The best part? Cove is safe, comfortable, and pretty effortless. You can wear the device as you go about your normal routine–for example, once as you get ready in the morning and again while you wind down at night–so it doesn’t take any time out of your day. Cove retails for $490 and there is financing available.
Note on EMF: Cove has been tested and emits very low levels of EMF while it is being used via Bluetooth with the app. For context, SAR (specific absorption rate) is the pertinent measure for EMF exposure. Cove is 96% under the FCC guideline, well below that of a cell phone, emitting only 4% of the SAR limit value. After pairing, you can also use the device without the app.

I Want To Know What You've Got Cooking
I'm so stoked about the positive feedback I've been getting about my new Boundless Cookbook. The cookbook was a labor of love, but I'm really proud of the end result (especially considering I'm definitely not a trained chef).
Now that the Boundless Cookbook is available on Amazon, I have a favor to ask…
If you have the cookbook and you love it, can you hop on over to Amazon and leave a review? Amazon reviews—as I bet you know—are super important. I want your honest feedback and I'll be reading them to hear what you think. You can leave your review on Amazon right here (and if you don't have a cookbook yet, and you're an Amazon Prime member, you could have your copy at your doorstep as early as tomorrow).
I've talked extensively about the benefits of cold therapy (check out this article and this solosode podcast for more) because it's one of the most beneficial routines you can practice on a daily basis—and it's quick, free, and you can do it nearly anywhere.
If you're convinced of the power of cold therapy, but haven't taken the (cold) plunge yet, or you've fallen out of regular practice, I have a cool (ha) opportunity for you.
Kion kicked off registration for a Free 5-Day Cold Thermo Challenge this week. The challenge officially starts on August 2nd and runs through the 6th. When you join the Challenge, you’ll get the no-BS breakdown from experts in cold therapy so you can practice it safely and effectively. You'll also be entered to win 3 sweet prizes when you participate by posting on social media.
