A few months ago, some dude walked up to me at a health conference as I was applying a bit of lavender to my temples and told me I shouldn't apply undiluted essential oil to my skin.
Turns out, upon engaging in conversation with the guy, he is an essential oils master. His name is Dr. Eric Zielinski, D.C., author and host of the Essential Oil Revolution summits. The guy is like a walking encyclopedia soup-to-nuts guide on mastering essential oils for health and well-being, and is chock full of dozens of recipes and formulations for restful sleep, reduced inflammation, balanced hormones, and more.
In his new book “The Healing Power of Essential Oils” he shows readers how to make their health a priority with the life-changing benefits of essential oils. He teaches everything you need to know to get started, including the top seven oils you should stock from Day 1, the commonly used techniques and tools and daily practices you can follow to enjoy the properties of essential oils, including a five-minute devotional using frankincense and neroli to set you up for a productive and stress-free day, and a simple bedtime routine harnessing the soporific effects of lavender.
Backed by extensive research, Dr. Z also supplies essential oil blends that promote hormone balance, reduced inflammation, improved digestion, increased immunity, and so much more. You'll be armed with over 150 recipes for every health need, and a special section on women's health includes dozens of formulations for PMS, fertility, pregnancy, candida, and menopause. Even those well-versed in essential oils will benefit from this thorough approach. Do you use the carrier oil when using a nebulizer?
The whole Bible inspired thing and Zelenski’s site smell of fanatic christian propaganda. There are much better resources and research on essential oils than medieval folktales
For Anger try:
Oils— Lavender, ylang ylang, rose, melissa, orange, bergamot, cedarwood, cypress, frankincense, geranium, German chamomile, helichrysum, lemon, mandarin, marjoram, myrrh (soothes), myrtle, petitgrain, Roman chamomile, sandalwood.
God Bless ❤
Made the inhaler, will let you know next time I do a hard workout and try it out
Am I reading the transcript correctly that Dr. Z recommends 5-10 “puffs” on the inhaler before a workout and during if needed? Or was it just 1 “puff” and then 5-10 deep breaths? Don’t want to overdue it “:-).
5-10 breaths from the inhaler.
Great comments and questions from other listeners. Why is nobody answering these?
What is your take on the following research?:
Korach’s observations ahead, Ramsey and other NIEHS researchers screened several chemicals in essential oils before they zeroed on eight chemicals which showed anti-androgenic and estrogenic activity on human cells. Of these eight chemicals, four chemicals – eucalyptol, 4-terpineol, dipentene/limonene, and alpha-terpineol, were found in both oils.
The other four found in either oil include linalyl acetate, linalool, alpha-terpinene, and gamma-terpinene.
I would actually agree that these extracts can be quite efficacious for hormone balance.
Hey Ben,
Just listened to the podcast about essential oils and found it very informative. You recommend almost everything you need to get started except which oils/company you recommend. Which do you or Eric use or consider the best quality oils? You mentioned a few company’s but not sure if you really recommends then
Thanks
Jim

Hey Ben. With regards to not applying essentials oils directly to skin, do you recommend dilution of your Kion Serum?
Nope, Kion Serum comes already diluted.
There is jojoba oil and aloe vera in the serum
Not all essential oils are created equal. The quality matters, therapeutic grade should be on the label (check Young Living Oils). If it has carrier oil mixed in, it can go bad (carrier oils have a shelf life, essential oils don’t). You should be careful to put EO on straight only if it is a spicy oil, otherwise it shouldn’t be of concern.
If grapefruit essential oil stimulates lipolysis will this increase the speed you can get back into ketosis? Can you just inhale it or do you need to eat it?
Yes, you can use essential oil, grapefruit extract, etc. Better than whole grapefruit as you still get more sugar with the whole fruit. Bitter melon works quite well too, like this: https://getkion.com/shop/body/kion-lean/
Hey
I have a 5 month old baby who is teething. Is it safe to use clove oil to rub on their gums for relief at such an early age?
I would recommend talking to your pediatrician first.
