Patrick says: What is the best way to lose belly fat? From about Jan until now I have lost about 15lbs but I can't get rid of the belly fat. I eat LCHF and it has helped but I can't seem to get rid of the last few pounds. I play hockey a few times a week and workout a few times a week and realize it is probably diet based. But are there some supplements I can take to help?

Hey Ben! another great Q&A. thanks for the report on APOE, i have just found out that I am APOE 3/4 so should probably cut out the bulletproof coffee every morning .;)

I am shocked that you haven’t heard of the Indian custom of Shatapawali. In Marathi it refers to refers to taking a stroll after a meal. If you break down Shatapawli it means to “walk 100 steps”.
I first was told about this custom while living in Japan but I could not find any reference on the internet about the Japanese doing it. Ever since I was told about it, I am now a believer in the 100 steps.
So what genetic testing do you now recommend?

I was checking out my 23andMe results after listening to you and Brock talk about the APOE4 gene. While I have a hard time navigating the results it seems like I have the APOE2 gene with a genetic results of GG.

In your opinion should I follow the recommendations you made for APOE4 and ditch the MCT oil and butter?

You would in my opinion only need to be concerned if you possess the APOE4 gene and are homozygous for it.
