A Genetically Engineered Probiotic That Digests Alcohol For You & Helps You Bounce Back The Next Day

Lately, if I'm out at a steakhouse prone to have a cocktail before dinner, and maybe toss in a few extra ounces of organic red wine later at home, I cover my bases with two strategies:

1) I take glutathione.*

2) I take, just prior to drinking any alcohol, this fascinating, new, genetically engineered (but totally safe) probiotic called “Zbiotics” that digests any of the nasty byproducts of alcohol and completely eliminates them from my system, resulting in a very pleasant next-day experience.

I’m not one to endorse heavy drinking, primarily because I value temperance and sobriety, but should you find yourself at a social function or a long dinner drinking more alcohol than you were normally accustomed to, or even just one glass for that matter, this stuff comes in super handy and works like a charm.

So what is it, exactly?

Zbiotics is a genetically engineered probiotic that breaks down the alcohol byproduct acetaldehyde. Acetaldehyde is a highly reactive compound that causes damage at the DNA level and leads to feeling less than ideal the next day.

When you drink alcohol, acetaldehyde forms in the gut where it starts wreaking havoc until it reaches the liver. Your body isn't great at handling high amounts of acetaldehyde, so this isn't the most fun journey for your biology.

Here's where Zbiotics comes in. Zbiotics mitigates the damage by producing the same enzyme your liver creates to destroy acetaldehyde. Instead of acetaldehyde getting a free pass to junk up your body throughout the digestive process, you’re able to start breaking it down immediately, which massively reduces the burden on your cells and in turn, reduces feeling less-than-ideal the next day.

Again, I'm not promoting that you go drinking more because of this stuff, but if you are going to have a glass or two, take Zbiotics. Use code BENG for 15% off at checkout

Heavenly Sourdough Made Specially For You

I'm a big fan of healthy bread, meaning non-GMO, ancient grain-based bread that isn't full of glyphosate (a herbicide that can kill weeds and grasses – no thanks!).

Most of the time that means making the stuff myself using Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat or sneaking a few slices of my wife's world-famous sourdough recipe

Recently, however, I discovered an excellent brand that lets you order incredible organic bread including authentic sourdough as close to homemade as I've ever tasted.

It's called Organic Bread of Heaven, and let me just say, this stuff is worthy of the name.

Whether you don't feel like making sourdough yourself or you want to peruse their many other products, this company is the best bread I've found that you can order pre-made.

Not only do they do a variety of authentic sourdough products, ranging from loaves to bagels, but they also have homemade granola, pasta, challah, pies, tortillas, and sweets.

The way it works is you make an order, and they bake it specifically for you before shipping it. This way they can keep out the junk preservatives and other harmful ingredients necessary to keep store-bought bread shelf-stable.

The end result is a genuinely custom-made, healthy, preservative-free bread shipped specially to your doorstep. Get yourself a loaf here

Product Of The Week

::: Get 25% Off On Blue Light-Free Lightbulbs For A Limited Time :::

Many of the tactics and tools I use to optimize my health, wellness, sleep, and longevity are not about what I put in my body, but what I put around it.

My environment is as important – if not more than – the supplements I use.

And one of the key aspects of your environment that is often overlooked is lighting.

Sure, you've heard about cold showers and saunas, air pollution, and water quality, and maybe you're even on the EMF train. But did you know how massive of a role light plays in your circadian biology?

Light affects everything from your sleep to inflammation to daily fatigue and focus and even can trigger health issues in some people (such as in the case of Irlen syndrome). Your eyes respond to the wavelength and intensity of light during the day to help influence your circadian rhythm, which governs such factors as sleep hormone release.

But the modern environment is rife with artificial lights emitting high wavelength “blue” and “green” light, not to mention other disruptive factors like light flicker.

Yes, I know the lights in your house aren't blue. That's not what I'm talking about. Blue light refers to the highest wavelength light that is emitted from nearly all artificial light.

The reason artificial light is almost exclusively of the blue wavelength (though it looks white) is that it is energy efficient, good for the electricity bill but bad news for your biology. You see, the sun also emits this light, but it is only strong during the peak brightness hours of the day, and comes alongside all the other wavelengths such as red and orange.

Artificial light, on the other hand, exposes you to high amounts of blue light at all times of day. It's, frankly, unnatural, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a better example of biological disruption.

So, what's the solution? Replace your lighting with low- or no-blue light wavelength bulbs, and I know of no better source for this than Bon Charge.

Bon Charge makes multiple low- or no-blue light options from bulbs to desklamps, and then some.

Their bulbs also mitigate light flicker to create an eye-strain-free environment that doesn't muck with your circadian biology.

My personal favorite is their full spectrum light bulb, which automatically imitates the sun as it passes overhead through the day. These bulbs change their light frequency and intensity to match the natural light source your body would normally be attuned to in an artificial light-free world.

In addition to their bulbs, Bon Charge also makes high-quality blue light-blocking glasses, EMF protection tools, and a myriad of other useful devices for upgrading your home or office environment.

Right now you can get 25% off as part of Bon Charge's mid-year sale but act quickly because it is ending soon. Just go to this link and have at it.

Asking A Quick Favor About My New Book Boundless Parenting: Tools, Tactics & Habits of Great Parents.

Boundless Parenting standing on deskAs you may know, in February of this year I released Boundless Parenting: a labor of love made up of interviews with some of the most incredible parents on the planet and their combined wisdom.

This book is designed to be a guide to, well, guiding your child in a world where navigating the act of raising a family has become a lost art.

The interviews in Boundless Parenting range from Bryan Johnson of Blueprint to my friends Dr. Dan and Merily Pompa, and many, many more. The text is chock full of all sorts of tools and tactics, from teaching your kids how to fast (and when it would be appropriate) to the ways Jessa and I have invested in the Greenfield family legacy. It has everything you need to go from lost-puppy-without-a-clue to grade-A super parent, and also has plenty of wisdom and actionable information for well-seasoned parents.

Now Boundless Parenting is available as the ultimate audio experience, as each chapter's narration comes not just from me and my wife Jessa, but also from each contributing parent's voice.

That’s right, you get to hear each parent read their chapter from their own perspective, making this audiobook come to life.

The parents, including my very own mom, my dad, myself, my wife, and many other models of practical parenting wisdom, delve into the fascinating realms of education, discipline, parenting, legacy, and so much more with specifics like:

  • The best methods for developing lifelong immunity, cellular resilience, mental toughness, and overall health in a child
  • How to manage your time, deal with overwhelm, care for yourself, and maintain high levels of productivity and health while raising children
  • Family mission statements to family brands, traditions, and routines that foster pride and a strong identity in children
  • Parents like Naveen Jain reveal how anyone can start a non-profit for their child for generational wealth building
  • The crazy, controversial primal secrets of “tiger dad” parents like The Liver King and Joe Desena
  • Lenore Skenazy on why she's America's Worst Mom (and why you should be too!)
  • Joseph Anew and Emilia Run's advice on respectful parenting, slowing down, and controversial topics like co-sleeping
  • Angie Fletcher on the intriguing traditions she began with her oldest child as a single, divorced mother
  • My own parents Gary and Pat Greenfield on how they raised me and my 4 siblings to approach the world in a far different, outside-the-box way compared to other kids
  • And much more!

I’ve even included a sneak peek just for you in a podcast I recorded last week, so you can start learning right here, right now!

Listen to me go over my love and logic parenting philosophy, how Boundless Parenting came to be, and other sections directly from the book.

Because parenting isn’t something you have to do alone. Remember the saying “It takes a village”?

So here's the favor: Listen to the sneak peek and if it strikes your fancy, let my book and the incredible parents in it be your village. Check out the audiobook release of Boundless Parenting here.
