Listen on:

Are you tired of feeling jittery, anxious, and restless after downing your third cup of coffee?

Enter paraxanthine – the “magical little molecule” that promises to take your energy and focus to the next level without any of the negative effects of caffeine.

Paraxanthine is like caffeine's cool, collected cousin who shows up to the party and steals the show. It's a natural metabolite of caffeine that's been scientifically engineered to enhance your cognitive function and athletic performance without the pesky side effects that come with consuming too much caffeine.

And trust us, I'm not exaggerating when I say that paraxanthine is in a league of its own. My friend Shawn Wells, aka “The World's Greatest Formulator,” introduced me to this game-changing ingredient, and I've been singing its praises ever since.

I interviewed Shawn on two previous podcast episodes:
Today, I invited Shawn back to talk about his new Update energy drink featuring paraxanthine (you can click here to get Update Energy Drink and use code BEN to save 10%). Shawn is joined by the CEO and his co-founder of Update, Daniel Solomons, who spent more than three years working with partners to develop the groundbreaking formula.

How about Update for teen athletes (ages 15 and 17)?

Okay to drink two a day ( for adults)?

  4. Mark Campbell says:

Adding to these replies, 5-HTP does not work for me so this drink is out, how/when an isolated form of paraxanthine?

Also – BEN – you mentioned in the podcast about amino acids and sleep supplements competing over l-tryptophan, can you expand on that a bit please?

    1. Ben Greenfield says:

Hi Mark ! 🙌 Ben’s social media assistant here 😊. That’s a great question! While I do not have an answer for this at the moment, I have added your question to the list of candidates for Ben to potentially answer in one of his upcoming Q&A episodes so stay tuned! Thanks again for reaching out and be sure to make it an awesome Wednesday 💪

  5. Thomas Dineen says:

My second day of the update drink.. it’s ok but it’s not my Starbucks.. I think I need more energy… this has more of a calming effect on me … maybe I can mix with super coffee to get boost. ?
I know it seems counterintuitive. I ordered more to give it a fair shake.

  6. R says:

Same here!!!! How do we get the isolated form in a powder??? The cans make it difficult to travel if you don’t check bags. Please advice.

  7. David R says:

I know I’m not alone here, how long will enfinity be leased to these pre-formulated beverages, because we all just want isolated paraxanthine. I’ve tried the update drink and it is nice but we’re all experimenters here.

    1. Darin says:

This. This. This. I’ve been looking everywhere for an isolated version. I’d like to avoid the nootropic stack thats being added in the products its packaged with.

      1. thomas alderson says:

        Yup, yup, yup.
